Our bike tours cater to tourists – not cyclists.
Most people who ride with us describe themselves as “leisurely” or
“occasional” cyclists. Some even admit they haven’t been on a bike
in a few years!
With a casual pace and frequent stops, the emphasis is on enjoying the scenery and discovering the boutique and family-owned wineries along the way. On our tours, you’ll cycle an average of 4-5 miles between each winery visit.
We offer a variety of tours that acquaint visitors
with many of these distinct regions. Our point, of course, is that we hope

Our
most popular touring bike and your best choice for a casual tour of the
wine country is our Specialized Hybrid. This bike offers all of the
efficiencies of a road bike, but has a wider seat and more of an upright
riding position.

A fleet of more than 200 late-model bicycles, free

mechanical repair)

lock, water bottle cage, handle-bar bag; also, we have a limited
inventory or saddle-bag repair kits (for cyclists able to make common
roadside repairs)
- Your
choice of more than 15 detailed cycling routes of varying lengths and
terrain
- We
can provide a car rack if needed, though most of the cycling routes we
recommend start/finish at our shop. Note that YOU will be responsible
for rack installation.
- If
you have cycling shoes, we can set up your rental bike with the
matching pedal system (limited inventories available; advance
reservation highly recommended).
- Free
Rental Drop-Off & Pick-Up offered to guests renting at least 2
bikes for one full day.
- We
offer this service to guests staying in any hotel or B&B within
- Reservations
for Bike Rental Drop-Offs MUST BE MADE BY PHONE (NOT
via our web reservation system).
- All
Drop-Offs & Pick-Ups occur between 9 and 11 a.m. (we cannot
promise specific drop-off/pick-up times within that timeframe)
- Helmets
are required (we will provide them)
- Advance
reservations are always recommended.
- If
you bike too far and are unable to make it back, you can call us and
we'll send a van to pick you up; however, this service will incur an
additional cost. This is another reason we highly recommend one of our
guided One-Day
Tours.
- All
rental bikes must be retuned by 5 p.m. Unless prior arrangements have
been made, renters who fail to return bikes by 5 p.m. will incur a $20
overnight fee, plus hourly rental charges beginning at 8:30 a.m. the
next day
