How Long Does The Ride Last?
The whole adventure is about 3 ½ hours long. The ride
starts at 6:00 a.m. when you meet your crew at the Wilson Creek Winery. It
takes the crew about thirty minutes (you can participate if you like) to get
the balloon up and ready for you, and then your ride is one hour long (±
for winds). All non-flyers are welcome to come chase the balloons and to
join the brunch following the flight.
By the time the crew packs the balloon you’re ready for
a champagne breakfast at a picnic area in the vineyards. The champagne
breakfast includes refreshing fruit, bagels, sweet rolls, muffins, finger
meat and cheeses.
The ride ends just as the wineries open their tasting
rooms and tours. After the wineries, you can visit old town Temecula where
the Butterfield Stage once stopped, shop in the antique stores, and maybe
see a gun fight in the streets. All in all, a fine day in the beautiful
valley of Temecula.
What Does It Include?
Our packages include a coupon, compliments of D & D
Ballooning and wine tasting at the Wilson Creek Winery. First winery to
plant grapes in the Temecula Valley.
A flight certificate to commemorate your experience, is
included as part of your balloon extravaganza.
Also, we include a personalized greeting card or basket
banner for special occasions i.e. birthdays, anniversaries, have-a-nice-day,
a-gift-from-me-to-you, etc.
We show up with a smile on our face, and will answer any
questions we can, and tell you about the sport of ballooning, the Temecula
Valley, and the charm associated with both of them.
How Much Does It Cost?
Normal price is $150 per person, subject to change. We do run specials at
times so call to inquire. We do a sweetheart flight where balloon is all
yours (and a special someone) for $475. Our price (the cheapest by $100 than
any other balloon company) guarantees that only you and your sweetheart
(pilot must go too) will be in the balloon. For only $50 additional, you can
have a sign and flowers for your sweetheart, too!
We have two balloons…a six passenger and a ten
passenger. If you can fill the ten passenger balloon we can give you a group
rate. Evening flights can be arranged through special accommodations.
We accept most major credit cards, but ask for a 3%
processing fee for the credit card charge. . We allow children through
twelve to ride ½ price with two adult full fares (not valid with other
discounts). We offer reduced rates for large groups. Please call for a
quote. Gratuity is appropriate for ground crew.

Reservations are required and made on a first come first
served basis, but often are available within 24 hours or less. For your

For those who want the adventure and excitement of more than the common
flight we offer the following:
LONG DISTANT FLYING:
We will prepare for you a flight over mountains, from beach to desert or
somewhere in-between, which leaves the length of the flight up to winds and
fuel. This can put you in the basket for hours at a time. These flights are
not for the faint-of-heart, because they are unpredictable. Landings can be
bouncy and the basket might get dragged, because winds are hard to predict
for long distances. But be assured safety is our aim. We all want to be home
safe for dinner, and therefore, your flight will be well planned and little
left up to chance. For those who want the ultimate, this is the ride.

NIGHT INTO MORNING:
We are legal to fly balloons at night with lights. The reason you don't see
balloons after sunset is the safety factor of landing in the dark. Where are
the power lines and trees? But to see a balloon at night, like a glowing
light bulb in the sky, is a sight allowed very few, and it is breathtaking.
Our offering is to take off at night, just before the sky lightens, and
watch the sun rise. We gain the benefit of a night flight, but a day time

TETHER RIDES:
For company and family picnics, grand openings, and special occasions, we
will tether (tie to the ground and rise only about 100 to 200 feet) our
balloon at your site. This is ideal for drawing a crowd to your business, or
gives your family that special, unexpected excitement. Call for planning.
MARRIAGE PROPOSAL:
We give that once in a life time moment the special treatment. We mount on
the top of the chase vehicle a sign readable at altitude "Will You
Marry Me.....". The chase vehicle catches up to the balloon so the
bride-to-be can read the sign. After the formal proposal, the balloon will
land for just a moment, and the chase crew will run up to the basket with a
dozen roses. This is call our "sweetheart flight" and the basket
can be exclusively reserved so this moment is shared by two. This ride is
also for those with romance in their souls for that special anniversary.
WEDDINGS:
We have the wedding no one forgets. Get married in our balloon, with flowers
and ribbon streamers trailing in the air. We offer your guests the sky as a
setting for your wedding. Your guests follow in other balloons and listen to
your vows over radios. If you want the traditional ceremony, consider
leaving your reception or church in a hot air balloon. Imagine the sight of

FEAR OF FLYING:
For those who do not feel comfortable more than a foot off the ground, we
offer our Fear of Flying flight. You will meet your crew and go to a field
where we can fly low and straight. We start just inches off the ground. You
control the pilot. You tell him when to touch the ground and when to rise
higher. You can get in or out of the basket at your desire. We fly low just
skimming the ground. We may never get higher than a big rock or a one story
house, but from experience, we bet you will get comfortable and soon you
will relax and enjoy the beauty and peace of floating in air. Don't let fear

For those who belong to or have ever wanted to join the "Mile
High" club, we offer a flight in a private balloon at a mile high (5280
feet). This is the ultimate ecstasy. We offer comfort and discretion. This
